Novel Purses^TM are made from recycled legal case reporters, medical texts, cook books, tax codes, or any other books and are the perfect gift for the lawyer, doctor, nurse, chef, accountant, teacher, or librarian in your family or network of friends.   In fact, we can turn your favorite novel or any other unique hard-covered book into a custom-designed purse that is sure to be a conversation piece at work or a cocktail party.  We also make other purse models, made primarily out of discarded fabric samples and recycled cardboard, for a fun night on the town or a black tie dinner.  It is our goal to fill your purse and fashion needs, not more garbage dumps. 

    A Message from the Founder of Novel Purses^TM

Hello.  My name is Katie Byers.  I am a recovering lawyer turned stay-at-home mom.  I love to make pretty things out of discarded items.  It all started when my mom and I turned an old book into a purse.  Suddenly, everything in my recycling bin began to look like the makings of a purse, from cereal boxes to soda 12 pack cases.  Thus, Novel Purses^TM was born ... making the world a cleaner, greener, prettier place--one purse at a time.
